Chase Young has not yet been cleared for Week 1 of the season, but don’t let that fool you. The former Ohio State star is still in incredible shape.
On Friday, the New Orleans Saints shared a few photos of Young working out at their facility. It’s pretty apparent that he’s keeping his body in top shape.
These workout photos of Young are so impressive that a caption wasn’t even needed.
Young, 25, signed a one-year contract with the Saints in free agency. It was then announced that he would undergo neck surgery.
According to a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the latest check-up for Young went well. However, he’ll need to undergo more tests in a few weeks.
“We’ll probably have another update in terms of where he’s at here in a week or two. Probably it’ll paint a clearer picture as to when we think he might be back,” Saints coach Dennis Allen said, via Saints Wire. “But he’s doing everything we’re asking him to do, he’s highly motivated, he wants to be a part of this organization, wants to a part of this team. And, look, I’m excited about getting him out here when he’s healthy enough to be out here.”

Young finished the 2023 season with 25 tackles, 15 QB hits and 7.5 sacks. The Saints would love for him to put up even better numbers this fall.
But first, Young will have to make sure he gets cleared by the Saints’ medical staff.
