Aaron Glenn is expected to be the favorite in the New Orleans Saints search for a new head coach. Glenn and the Saints have been paired as a perfect fit. However, it takes two to tango, and there’s other teams who want to dance with Glenn.
In addition to the Saints, the New York Jets and Chicago Bears are all expected to put in requests to interview Glenn, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Because the Detroit Lions earned a bye week in the first round of the playoffs, teams are able to interview any member of their staff this week. So, expect Ben Johnson interview news soon as well.
Many connect Glenn to the Saints because of his history, but he has history with the Jets as well. He started his playing career with the Jets and stayed in New York for eight seasons. If we’re talking history, the Saints aren’t the only ones who can tap into that bank.
Like mentioned earlier, it takes two to tango. If all parties decide he’s the guy, who will Glenn choose as his dance partner.
