After a one-and-done stint in New Orleans, Kubiak is set to join his fifth team in as many years.
Former New Orleans Saints OC Klint Kubiak has agreed to terms with the Seattle Seahawks to serve as their offensive coordinator for the 2025 season. This marks Kubiak’s fifth stop in as many years and leaves the Saints searching for a new play caller for the second consecutive offseason—their third offensive coordinator in three years.

In light of Kubiak’s departure, attention now shifts to Philadelphia Eagles OC Kellen Moore, whom the Saints are set to fly out to as early as Monday to interview for their vacant head coach position.

The idea of hiring an offensive-minded head coach continues to feel like the best option for New Orleans, especially given how hard quality play-callers are to find and how easily they can be lost. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers losing Dave Canales to the Carolina Panthers last season, followed by the entire Liam Coen to the Jacksonville Jaguars fiasco this offseason, serves as a prime example of how frustrating it can be to have your offense plucked away every time you find success.
Along with Moore, the Saints still plan to schedule an in-person interview with former Dallas Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy early next week. Although they also requested to speak with Washington Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury, he has yet to show any indication that he’s willing to leave Jayden Daniels and the Commanders after just one year and has expressed comfort in his current position. However, this may simply be because they were still competing for a Super Bowl appearance.
Who would you like to see running the Saints’ offense in 2025? Would you prefer an offensive-minded head coach (Kellen Moore, Mike McCarthy, Mike Kafka, or Kliff Kingsbury), or would you rather pair a rising play caller with someone else (Darren Rizzi or Anthony Weaver)?
