The New Orleans Saints have officially closed out their 2024 season, finishing with a 5-12 record. While their season may be over, there is still plenty of work to be done starting with the biggest task: hiring a new head coach.
Over a half a dozen names have already been attached to the team (like Aaron Glenn and Joe Brady) and some interviews have already been set for this week, but this will not be a decision that is made quickly. The Saints have a lot of talent on the team but they have now missed the playoffs for 4 straight seasons so we know they will do their due diligence in looking at all viable candidates that can help the team get back on track.
Interim head coach Darren Rizzi is also strong candidate, as he has said that he wants the job and will be interviewing at a later date. Several players including Cam Jordan and Alvin Kamara have spoken out in support of Rizzi as well.
It will be a busy few weeks at Airline Drive but as always, we want to hear from you. What are your thoughts on the coaching search, and do you feel the Saints are headed in the right direction?
