The New Orleans Saints are officially in the thick of interviews for a new head coach so earlier this week, we asked our readers who they would like to see the Saints hire as their next head coach?
45% of our readers said Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn followed by 32% voting for Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady. Former Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy came in 3rd with 13%, followed by 5% for Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury and others.
Aaron Glenn is in hot demand as a head coaching candidate and has already interviewed virtually with the Saints as well as the New York Jets Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders. He has also declined an interview request from the New England Patriots.
Meanwhile, Joe Brady interviewed virtually with the Saints on Friday as well as Saints interim head coach and former special teams’ coach Darren Rizzi. Mike McCarthy is expected to interview in New Orleans sometime early next week.
