New Orleans adds another coveted offensive assistant to Kellen Moore’s staff.
As the New Orleans Saints continue to shape head coach Kellen Moore’s staff, the hiring of Philadelphia Eagles run game specialist/offensive line coach could be one of their most significant additions so far.
Big add for Kellen Moore’s staff. The Saints are hiring TJ Paganetti from the Eagles, according to a source. Paganetti served as a run game specialist and assistant offensive line coach for Philadelphia last season.

The Eagles’ 3,048 rushing yards, 29 rushing touchdowns, and 25 runs of 20+ yards each ranked second in the league in 2024, while their 164 first-down rushes and seven runs of 40+ yards were tied for the most in the league. RB Saquon Barkley was also named the NFL AP Offensive Player of the Year in recognition of his monster 2,005 yard and 13 touchdown season.
T.J. Paganetti has worked under Eagles’ highly respected OL coach and run game coordinator Jeff Stoutland since 2017. After seeing how dominant the run game was for the Eagles and Saquon Barkley in 2024, as well as the resurgence of players like OL Mekhi Becton—who revived his career in Philadelphia after struggling with the New York Jets—I’m eager to see what Moore and Paganetti can do in New Orleans. I’d like to think Paganetti, alongside returning Saints OL coach Brendan Nugent (2015-2021), can get the best out of guys like Trevor Penning, who has also had a slow start to his career as a former first-round NFL Draft pick.
