Could the Black and Gold go against their traditional ways?
The New Orleans Saints have made calls about trading back in the 2025 NFL Draft with less than 24 hours left, according to a report from Jordan Schultz.
The #Saints have made calls about potentially sliding back slightly from No. 9 to acquire additional draft capital, with the leaguewide belief being they would then use those extra picks to trade back into the late first round to target a quarterback, sources tell @NFLonFOX.

The Black and Gold currently hold the 9th overall pick, but could be looking to stack picks in this year’s draft.
Many reports have suggested that the Saints will be looking at quarterback in this draft with the Derek Carr situation, but considering the Saints haven’t drafted a QB in the first round since Archie Manning, there’s clearly some skepticism.
This is a philosophy that Mickey Loomis and his front office have typically avoided, but the Saints may be deciding to go against their ways with new head coach Kellen Moore.
The NFL Draft will begin Thursday night in Green Bay at 7:00 p.m.
