New Orleans gets hit with unfortunate injury news.
The New Orleans Saints have had a very unfortunate season, and although the rosters health has started to improve, the team has been hit with more injury news. Rookie linebacker Jaylan Ford has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a lower leg injury. This injury occurred on special teams against the Raiders.

Jaylan Ford has primarily played on special teams throughout his rookie year, but the hope was Ford could break into the starting lineup next season. Depending on the severity of the injury, there is a chance Ford could be out for training camp and potentially some part of the season. The linebacker room could look a lot different next season, and with this injury news, the Saints may want to focus on upgrades in the offseason. With placing Ford on IR, former Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle Josh Ball was signed to the roster.
