New Orleans is back home in the dome this Sunday in their final home game of the season.
It’s Week 17 and the New Orleans Saints (5-10) are back home in the dome to take on the Las Vegas Raiders (3-12) in the Caesars Superdome on Sunday. This will be their final game at home for the 2024 season.
The Saints come into this game after getting shut out 35-0 by the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. It was a rough one in Lambeau as the Saints were without several starters going into the game and then lost center Erik McCoy early in the game due to an elbow injury. Meanwhile, the Raiders head to New Orleans after defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 19-14 on Sunday afternoon.
Saints QB Derek Carr has been dealing with a left-hand injury since Week 14 against the New York Giants and has not practiced since so it is unknown if he will play this week against his former team. The Saints will not practice until Thursday so we will know more on his status then.
According to FanDuel, the Saints are currently 1.5-point favorites against the Raiders. The over/under is currently 39.5 points but there is sure to be some movement on these odds before Sunday’s matchup.
