The New Orleans Saints are adding another name to their list of potential candidates at offensive coordinator.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Saints have scheduled an interview with Mike Sullivan.
Sullivan, 56, has been the quarterbacks coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers since 2021. He became the team’s play-caller after offensive coordinator Matt Canada was fired in late November.
The Steelers showed a lot of improvement with Sullivan as their play-caller. Heck, he got Mason Rudolph to play efficient football for their final four games of the season.
Before the Saints speak with Sullivan, he’ll interview with the Raiders. They also have an opening at offensive coordinator.
The #Saints are scheduling an interview with Steelers QBs coach and play-caller Mike Sullivan for their vacant offensive coordinator job, sources say. Sullivan will speak with New Orleans following his interview with the #Raiders for their OC job.

Sullivan isn’t the only intriguing candidate on the Saints’ radar. Earlier this month, they interviewed 49ers quarterbacks coach Brian Griese and offensive passing game specialist Klint Kubiak.
The Saints also requested interviews with Jerrod Johnson of the Texans, Zac Robinson of the Rams and Dan Pitcher of the Bengals.
New Orleans is looking to replace Pete Carmichael, who served as the team’s offensive coordinator from 2009-2023.
