2024’s roller coaster will end after Week 18.
Following the Atlanta Falcons‘ win on Sunday, the New Orleans Saints have officially been eliminated from playoff contention.
The playoffs were highly unlikely for the 5-9 Saints, who are in Green Bay to take on the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football tonight, but now it is official that vacation will start early in New Orleans.
This upcoming offseason, the Saints will be all over the headlines as they will look to once again get themselves under the salary cap threshold as well as hiring a new head coach to lead them into the future.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Dallas Cowboys last night on Sunday Night Football on a fumble from Rachaad White. Mix that loss with the Falcons win and now Atlanta holds control in the NFC South over the Bucs. New Orleans and Carolina have both been eliminated.
Saints vs. Packers will start at 7:15 p.m. from Lambeau Field on ESPN.
