New Orleans Saints DE Cam Jordan has announced that he will be donating $25,000 to the New Orleans New Year’s Day Tragedy Fund, which will help assist the victims and survivors of the 2025 New Year’s Day mass casualty that occurred on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter that killed 15 people and injured dozens more.
Jordan made the announcement via social media and asked others to consider donating to this important cause as well.

Per the Fund’s official website: The Greater New Orleans Foundation joins the City of New Orleans and fellow community partners to launch the New Orleans New Year’s Day Tragedy Fund to assist the victims and survivors of the 2025 New Year’s Day mass casualty incident.
“At around 3:15 a.m. on New Year’s Day, a man driving a white pickup truck plowed into crowds on Bourbon Street as revelers were gathered in the aftermath of New Year’s Eve celebrations. The FBI is now investigating the mass-casualty incident as a terroristic act”
