The rookie from LSU is crushing it in the playoffs.

The rookie out of LSU has managed to make that eleven-year-old tweet ring true. Following his win over the Detroit Lions, Daniels became just the second rookie quarterback to lead their team to a conference championship. Next weekend, he’ll be visiting Philadelphia in an effort to be the first rookie QB to start a Super Bowl.
So far, through his two playoff victories, Daniels has accumulated 567 passing yards with four touchdowns and a quarterback rating of 116.2.
“I always believe that we can achieve more than what people give us credit for,” Daniels said after the Lions game. “You gotta go out there and put in the work; you gotta go out there and work daily, get better each and every day, and just put your head down and grind.”
Just in the regular season, however, Daniels has put himself in front of the rest. He had 3,568 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, and nine interceptions, as well as 891 rushing yards, making him a top contender for offensive rookie of the year.
“We knew what he had when he got here: his competitiveness, his humbleness, and the way he works,” Terry McLaurin said after the Lions game. “But the best has yet to come for him.”
Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders will visit the Philadelphia Eagles next weekend for the battle of the NFC. It will be Washington’s first NFC Championship game since 1991.
