It’s a scorigami!
Sunday was special for the Saints as they took it to the Dallas Cowboys defense, beating the Boys on the road 44-19 and improving to 2-0 to start the season. But it was also special because of that final score.
It was a scorigami!

For the uninitiated, a “scorigami” is a final score in an NFL game that has never been the final score of a game before. As the tweet above about the Saints’ scorigami references, it’s the 1086th scorigami in NFL history.
Often it takes some kind of less-common scoring situation to achieve a completely unique NFL score, but there were just touchdowns, PATs, field goals, and one blocked FG attempt. The wildest scoring situation was probably Alvin Kamara scoring three touchdowns before the half and one in the third quarter for a total of four on the day.
A win is a good thing no matter what the final score is, but getting a scorigami makes it a little more fun.
