The game will be played on February 9th in New Orleans.
The NFC and AFC Championships have concluded, and we now know that the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs will face off in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9th in New Orleans.
Earlier today, the Eagles defeated the Washington Commanders 55-23 in the NFC Championship at Lincoln Financial Field.
Just moments ago, the Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 32-29 in the AFC Championship at Arrowhead Stadium.
This is the second time in two years that the Eagles and Chiefs will face one another in the Super Bowl. Kansas City defeated Philadelphia 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona.
The Chiefs will now look to make history and become the first team in the league to achieve a “three-peat,” winning three consecutive Super Bowls.
Super Bowl LIX will be played in the Caesars Superdome. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. CT.
