How did it all start for these two teams?
The New Orleans Saints (5-10) are back home in the dome this week to take on the Las Vegas Raiders (3-12) on Sunday afternoon, which will be the Saints last home game of the 2024 season.
These two first played one another back on November 7th, 1971, in Tulane Stadium, which saw the game end in a 21-21 tie. Sunday will be the 15th time that these two franchises have faced one another with the series being tied 7-7-1. New Orleans has scored 365 points to Las Vegas’ 320 points.
Their last matchup was in the Superdome on October 10th, 2022, which saw the Saints win 24-0.
New Orleans comes into this matchup after a 34-0 loss on Monday Night Football to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. Meanwhile, the Raiders just broke a ten-game losing streak, after defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, 19-14.
Kickoff is at 12 pm and the game will be broadcast on FOX with Adam Amin (play-by-play), Mark Sanchez (color analyst) and Kristina Pink (sideline)
