The New Orleans Pelicans announced Zion Williamson has been diagnosed with a left hamstring strain. Medical imaging taken on Saturday morning confirmed the injury.
Williamson will be out indefinitely.
Williamson had missed three of the Pelicans’ past four games due to various injuries. Williamson missed Sunday’s game with right hamstring tightness, Monday’s game with right thigh soreness and Friday’s game with left hamstring tightness.
For the season, Williamson is averaging 22.7 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 31.1 minutes.
