Dejounte Murray suffered a fractured left hand during the New Orleans Pelicans’ opening night win over the Chicago Bulls, tests confirmed.
Murray is now expected to be out for an “extended period of time.”
Murray had 14 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in the game. The Pelicans were without Zion Williamson in the game, who was out due to an illness.
The Pelicans acquired Murray via trade from the Atlanta Hawks this past offseason.
