What a huge game in the SEC!
The LSU Tigers face a tough test away from home in the SEC, this time around they face the Aggies of Texas A&M, who are off some confidence boosting wins.
The Tigers will look to better last time out’s win vs. Arkansas, where they looked really in sync and could maybe make it run of wins that leads to something special this season.
From third down efficacy, player props, team defense/offense numbers and more, we will have a little bit of everything as we roll on this season.
Last season we ended with a positive record (2022: 19-17, 2023: 19-17) and we will look to do so once more. We went 1-2 and are reminded of the narrow margins that win you money in the betting world as we move on to this week. (10-11 in 2024)
Today, we take a look at predicting three specific areas for the team. Remember these are bold predictions. (All stats via CFBSTATS)
1 Garrett Nussmeier OVER 285.5 Passing Yards
Yea, yea, I’m taking this again. Expect a lot of throwing. LSU will need its star QB entering hostile territory and this is where careers can get made and this is a great opportunity to let it rip.
If it does not hit this time I will retire this one, but I see a lot of yards flowing in this game and that makes me love this pick.

2 OVER 54.5 Game Total (-110, via DKSB)
LSU coming off a really good and confidence boosting win, where so many players played really well and could really build off it here in this one. The Tigers can take advantage of a possibly over confident Aggie side that is at home and could be over eager, especially early.
Lots of injuries on both sides and the models have the Aggies favored, 47-52 at ESPN’s FPI, but still this has just the recipe for a fun close game and all we need is points that turn into TD’s vs. field goals.
Make this an satisfying win and the continuation of wins!
3 Player Total Kicking Points OVER 7.5, Damian Ramos (+110, ESPNBET)
Ramos has been a fun story in his LSU career, low key under rated even. He has been money this season and pretty rock solid in his previous one’s as well. Here, the opportunities should abound and make this a fairly easy hit.
Ramos hitting four points after touchdowns and two field goals gets us this so let’s hope for points, points, points.
Final score prediction: LSU 34-31 Texas A&M
That will do it for this week’s very specific predictions. Let us know what you think and give us some of your own!
