Fans are loving Olivia Dunne’s support of boyfriend Paul Skenes ahead of the No. 1 pick’s MLB debut on Saturday.
After crushing it in Triple-A ball, the Pirates’ top prospect got the call to toe the rubber against the Cubs this weekend and he’s already off to an impressive start.
Through one inning of work, the LSU product has struck out two and shown some of the devastating stuff that had talent evaluators calling him the best pitching prospect of his generation.
During a recent interview with the MLB Network, Skenes opened up about how great its been to have Livvy in his corner.
“It’s been great,” he said. “She’s helped me in a lot of ways in terms of managing all the hype I guess, if you will, and how to manage everything that goes around being a pro athlete because she’s kinda lived it. So it’s been great.”

Dunne is obviously no stranger to the spotlight after becoming one of the top NIL earners in college sports over the course of her gymnastics career.
Olivia’s talents helped contribute to LSU bringing home its first ever national title on the mat.
As of right now though, Livvy has yet to make a decision on her athletic future with one year of eligibility remaining in Baton Rouge.
