Olivia Dunne has made quite the career for herself both as a gymnast and social media influencer. At just 21 years old, she’s considered a household name.
In case people didn’t know, Dunne was homeschooled prior to enrolling at LSU. Her mother taught her while she would train at ENA Gymnastics.
On Friday night, Dunne reminded her fans that she was homeschooled by the age of 14.
The latest TikTok from Dunne had this caption above her head: “You actually act pretty normal for being homeschooled.”
Dunne recorded this video with a sound bite that says, “Let’s [expletive] go? Let’s go! I guess.” She added that being homeschooled “built character.”
Just like most of Dunne’s videos, it went viral and received well over 300,000 views.
@livvy It built character. #foryou #homeschool #gymnastics
Dunne, who won a national championship with LSU this year, has over eight million followers on TikTok. She also has a massive following on Instagram.
Earlier this year, Dunne was featured in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit for the second time in her young career.
“SI Swim means to me being comfortable in your own skin and being undeniably you, which is something I still work on to this day,” Dunne said. “Body image is something that a lot of girls struggle with, especially young girls. In the sport of gymnastics, [body image is] a huge thing, and it’s something that I’m still working on to this day, being confident. But SI’s really helped me to see that it’s O.K. to not be perfect and to just be comfortable in your own skin.”
At this point in Dunne’s career, she can do no wrong.
