A bad weekend for Heisman winners unless you went to LSU
The Holiday season are here, which means there are massive playoff implications in (almost) every NFL game. Let’s break each of them down, but only with regards to how the LSU players performed.
Broncos 27 at Chargers 34
Kristian Fulton had six tackles. DJ Chark played, but did not catch a pass.
NFLSU Score: 2/10
Texans 19 at Chiefs 27
Derek Stingley Jr. had four tackles and a pass breakup. Danielle Hunter had two tackles.
NFLSU Score: 4/10
Steelers 17 at Ravens 34
Patrick Queen had a team-high eight tackles in his return to his former home stadium. Tre’Davious White had one.
NFLSU Score: 4/10
Rams 19 at Jets 9
Omar Speights had five tackles, including a huge 4th down stop.
NFLSU Score: 2/10
Eagles 33 at Commanders 36
The legend of Jayden Daniels grows.

No. 5 threw 5 touchdowns in a heroic performance to put the Commanders on the brink of making the playoffs. Jayden went 24/39 for 258 yards, 5 TDs and 2 INTs. He was also far and away Washington’s leading rusher with 81 yards. After a tip-drill interception seemingly sealed the game for the Eagles, they just needed to convert a 3rd and 5 to ice it. A Heisman winner who went to Alabama got wide open, but dropped it, giving Jayden almost a full two minutes to drive for the win. What a shame!
NFLSU Score: 9/10
Browns 6 at Bengals 24
Once again, it was a good day to be a Heisman winner who went to LSU. Joe Burrow continued to be the best quarterback in the NFL, going 23/30 for 252 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs and a sweep of the Bengals’ in-state rival for the first time in Joe’s career.

Ja’Marr Chase only caught six passes, but they amounted to a game-high 97 yards and that nifty TD to cap it off. Life is tough for the Browns, but Ethan Pocic played center and Grant Delpit had five tackles, including a sack on his former college teammate. It was all smiles afterward, though.

The Bengals’ playoff chances are alive, but slim. You have one last chance to watch Joe and Ja’Marr at the peak of their powers this Saturday on NFL Network.
NFLSU Score: 8/10
Giants 7 at Falcons 34
Vibes are terrible in New York. But hey, Cor’Dale Flott got an interception!

Malik Nabers caught seven passes for 68 yards. He surpassed Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley for most catches by a rookie in Giants history. I hope happier days are ahead for him.
NFLSU Score: 5/10
Cardinals 30 at Panthers 36 (OT)
Damien Lewis blocked for an exciting Panthers team that finally got another win!
NFLSU Score: 1/10
Titans 30 at Colts 38
Arden Key played, but did not record a tackle.
NFLSU Score: 1/10
Lions 34 at Bears 17
Kwon Alexander was injured and Jamal Adams is back on the practice squad. Too bad!

Vikings 27 at Seahawks 24
We are out of adjectives for Justin Jefferson.

JJ caught 10 passes for 144 yards (the most in the league this week) and 2 TDs. I’m so excited to see him on the playoff stage again. If that’s not enough, Jay Ward also had a tackle. Now are you excited to watch them? Hell yeah.
NFLSU Score: 8/10
Patriots 21 at Bills 24
Kayshon Boutte had the best game of his career so far, catching five passes for 95 yards and a TD.

Nine catches for 132 yards and that TD. But for the second week in a row it wasn’t enough for the win, thanks in part to K’Lavon Chaisson, who had two tackles including a sack against his former team. Maason Smith had three tackles.
NFLSU Score: 7/10
49ers 17 at Dolphins 29
Duke Riley played briefly.
NFLSU Score: 1/10

Trey Palmer caught two passes for 31 yards and returned four punts for also 31 yards. Damone Clark had one tackle.
NFLSU Score: 3/10
Saints 0 at Packers 34
