Another week, another LSU QB’s heroic performance wasted
Last weekend saw the LSU Tigers get back in the W column, which is good news since the Tiger alumni had one of their quietist Sundays yet. Let’s break down every game.
Steelers 19 at Browns 24
Both teams’ leading tacklers were Tigers as Patrick Queen had 7 and Grant Delpit had 10. Donte Jackson also had his fourth interception of the season, tying his career high. Squint and you can see it!

Ethan Pocic played every snap. This is real football.
NFLSU Score: 8/10
Buccaneers 30 at Giants 7
Malik Nabers had six catches for 64 yards. With Daniel Jones gone, hopefully Nabers can get back in that sweet No. 8 next year. Hopefully he isn’t beefing with his head coach in his postgame presser either.
Cor’Dale Flott had three tackles. Trey Palmer caught one pass for 18 yards.
NFLSU Score: 5/10
Cowboys 34 at Commanders 26
The Commanders unfortunately are officially in a downslide, but at least Jayden balled out! JD went 25/38 for 275 yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs (though one was on a Hail Mary that wasn’t answered this time) while also rushing for 74 yards and a TD on 7 carries.
After Kliff Kingsbury’s run-based offense was figured out, Jayden was cut loose in the fourth quarter, rallying Washington all the way back from 11 and 10-point deficits int he span of minutes. The comeback culminated with this 86-yard touchdown pass, somehow even more electric than his Hail Mary last month.

However, in a tribute to John Carney, the Commanders missed the extra point. I’m very much condensing how insane this fourth quarter was, but you can Google it. All you need to know is Jayden Daniels is a superstar who has never done anything wrong in his life, ever.
Also Damone Clark had a tackle.
NFLSU Score: 8/10
Chiefs 30 at Panthers 27
Damien Lewis blocked in a valiant Panthers effort.
NFLSU Score: 2/10
Patriots 15 at Dolphins 34
Kayshon Boutte caught one pass for six yards. Odell Bekcham Jr. did not catch a pass. Davon Godchaux had two tackles against his former team, while Duke Riley had one.
NFLSU Score: 4/10
Titans 32 at Texans 27
Y’all ready for a statline? Danielle Hunter: 7 tackles with THREE sacks! Imagine doing all that and not getting a win. His teammates Derek Stingley Jr. had three tackles and Devin White had two.
You know who did get the win? Ali Gaye, who also got his first career sack! Arden Key also had two tackles.
NFLSU Score: 6/10
Lions 24 at Colts 6
Mekhi Wingo played a handful of snaps, but did not record a tackle.
NFLSU Score: 1/10
Vikings 30 at Bears 27
Justin Jefferson only caught two passes for 27 yards, but the second one was a chunk play to help the Vikings get into game-winning field goal range. Ed Ingram lost his starting job, which I’ve been expecting for two years based on Vikings fans’ tweets, but he seemed in good spirits in his locker room availability. Jay Ward played special teams.
NFLSU Score: 4/10
Broncos 29 at Raiders 19
K’Lavon Chaisson played, but did not record a tackle.
NFLSU Score: 1/10
Cardinals 6 at Seahawks 16
Anthony Bradford was out, so there’s nothing here for us.
NFLSU Score: 0/10
49ers 10 at Packers 38
Man, there’s nothing for us in this afternoon slate, huh?
NFLSU Score: 0/10
Eagles 37 at Rams 20
Omar Spights was second on the team with 7 tackles. Linebackers deserve worker’s comp for going against Saquon Barkley.
NFLSU Score: 3/10
Ravens 30 at Chargers 23
Tre’Davious White had three tackles and a pass breakup. Kristian Fulton had two tackles.
NFLSU Score: 4/10
