At least Thursday was fun!
Saturday was a tough one for LSU fans, and the rest of the weekend offered some relief in the form of NFLSU, but not a ton. Let’s break it all down, starting with the one I know all of you watched.
Bengals 34 at Ravens 35
Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase put up video game numbers against the Ravens, but lost anyway.
There have been 2 instances in NFL history where a QB had:
30+ completions
300+ passing yards
4+ TD passes
multiple 40+ yard TD passes
no more than 1 INT…and yet still lost. Those 2 instances were Joe Burrow vs. the Ravens in Week 5 & Joe Burrow vs. the Ravens again tonight. pic.twitter.com/vfRaLghMC9

Joe’s final line was 34/56 for 428 yards, 4 TDs and 0 INTs. Three of those TDs went to Ja’Marr Chase who had an absolutely stupid statline of 264 yards on 11 catches. Here he is scoring on a one-play TD drive.

It sucks that two all-time Tigers are playing out of their minds and are still stuck with a 4-6 record, but at least they’re putting on an exciting show for us. They’ll in prime time again Sunday night against the Chargers. Maybe they’ll win that one, maybe they won’t. Don’t try to understand this team.
NFLSU Score: 9/10
Giants 17 at Panthers 20 (OT)
Malik Nabers caught six passes for 50 yards. Cor’Dale Flott had three tackles and a pass breakup. Damien Lewis blocked for a second consecutive Panthers win. Let’s get out of here.
NFLSU Score: 5/10
Broncos 14 at Chiefs 16
No Clyde, no Kwon, no points.
NFLSU Score: 0/10
Steelers 28 at Commanders 27
Jayden Daniels’ squad fell just short in a tough loss. JD was 17/34 for 202 yards with no TDs or turnovers against a good defense. He was moving the offense, but the RBs vultured all the scores. Patrick Queen had a team-high seven tackles and a pass breakup, while Donte Jackson had two tackles. I’m so upset that after so many garbage Washington-Dallas Thanksgiving games, the garbage Cowboys will instead host the garbage Giants this year. This is the first time since the Clinton administration people actually want to watch Washington’s pro football team, and we don’t get it this year? Dammit man.
NFLSU Score: 5/10
Vikings 12 at Jaguars 7
It wasn’t pretty, but it was yet another win for the Vikings. Justin Jefferson caught five passes for 48 yards. Ed Ingram blocked and Jay Ward made one tackle. Brian Thomas Jr. was held to two catches for 12 yards thanks to a terrible Alabama QB throwing to him.
NFLSU Score: 4/10
Falcons 17 at Saints 20
It’s been too long since we’ve seen a Tyrann Mathieu interception. Let’s watch one!

Dolphins 23 at Rams 15
Odell Beckham Jr. caught two passes for 17 yards against one of his former teams. Omar Speights had a team-high 8 tackles, while Neil Farrell had one.
