ughhhhhhhhhhhhh
Well, to the dismay of America, the Super Bowl matchup is set. It will feature zero active Tigers so we really won’t care. Before we put out our NFLSU Season Recap in two weeks, let’s see how our final Tigers’ season wrapped up.
Commanders 23 at Eagles 55
After three quarters and change I thought the story of this game would be Jayden Daniels’ dumb teammates blowing this game for him, but the fourth quarter avalanche makes me think it was never gonna happen for the Commanders anyway. But hey, JD wasn’t bad! The numbers (29/48 for 255 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 48 rushing yards and a TD on six carries) aren’t as impressive as some of his past performances, but he was playing catch-up all game.
It was still an impressive season (we will break down the complete numbers soon) and the Commanders are in a very good spot for the near future. A legitimate case could be made for Daniels already being the best quarterback in the NFC. While he unfortunately won’t play for a Super Bowl this year, he will likely get a chance soon.
And I guess congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles, who have Tyrion Davis-Price and Andre Sam on their practice squad? Geaux Birds? idk man.
NFLSU Score: 4/10
Bills 29 at Chiefs 32
Losing four straight Super Bowls is pretty bad but losing four straight playoff games to the same team might somehow be worse? I truly can’t imagine. Reid Ferguson long snapped and I’m sure he did a good job. I would suggest the Bills add some Tigers to get over the KC hump, but they don’t have any either, so again I’m at a loss. This is pointless. Eat at Arby’s.
