You’re squarely in the CFP picture
For the second week in a row, LSU (6-1, 3-0) checked in at No. 8 in the latest AP Poll rankings.
Oregon is your new No. 1 team in the land after Georgia whacked Texas in Austin last night. The Dawgs leaped from 5th to 2nd. Penn State, Ohio State, and Texas round out this week’s top-five.
I would have thought LSU would at least move up one spot to 7th, but Tennessee vaulted all the way up from 11th to 7th after beating Alabama 24-17 on Rocky Top. Alabama dropped all the way down to 15th in this week’s rankings.
One could argue that Alabama’s got TWO quality losses on the ole résumé because the Tide not only lost to Tennessee, the No. 7 team in the country, but folks they’ve ALSO lost to the newly minted No. 25 ranked Commodores of Vanderbilt!!!
