Let’s try and go out on a high note

Three Specific Predictions: Saul Garcia
Playing Nice: Zach Junda and Jack Shields
Much like last week’s game against Vanderbilt, I head into this regular season finale against Oklahoma with no idea what to expect.
The difference in last week’s game versus tonight’s game is leading into Vandy, LSU had shown me nothing over the previous month that they could win at home. LSU, of course, beat Vanderbilt last week so problem solved right? Normally yeah, but then I also watched a struggling Oklahoma team beat Alabama by three touchdowns.
Jackson Arnold ran for 131 yards and we all know LSU’s struggled (to put it mildly) to stop running quarterbacks. They did a good job stopping Taylen Green, but Marcel Reed and Jalen Milroe looked like Jayden Daniels fused together with prime Michael Vick so who the hell knows.
Ultimately I think LSU being at home combined with them finally snapping that losing skid is reason enough to pick the Tigers to eek out a close win. 8-4 definitely ain’t anything to be proud of, but it’s better than 7-5.
Final Prediction: LSU 28, Oklahoma 23
