Hey at least there aren’t any 11 A.M. home games
The Powers That Be aka the SEC and our network TV overlords announced kickoff times for the remaining football games across the conference…kind of.
We at least know approximate kickoff windows with games between weeks 4-14 getting one of four designations: Early (11 A.M. to Noon), Afternoon (2:30 to 3:30), Night (5 to 7) or Flex (2:30 to 3:30 OR 5 to 7).
Of the previously unannounced kickoff times, LSU will have three guaranteed night games: vs. Ole Miss (October 12), at Arkansas (October 19), and vs. Vanderbilt (November 23).
The remaining five games got the flex designation: home vs. UCLA (September 21), at Texas A&M (October 26), home vs. Alabama (November 9), at Florida (November 16) and the regular season finale at home against Oklahoma (November 30).
In total, LSU will have at minimum four Louisiana Saturday Night home games and as many as seven if the games against the Bruins, Tide, and Sooners get the 7:00 start time. LSU is also guaranteed to not have a home game starter earlier than 2:30. The Tigers will play one 11 A.M. game, its SEC opener at South Carolina on September 14. LSU will also of course get the primetime treatment in its season opener against USC on September 1.
