Brad Davis plucks the nation’s best interior offensive lineman out of Arkansas
Give Brad Davis a lifetime contract.
Thanks to the recruiting efforts of Davis, the Tigers have secured the commitment of four-star offensive lineman Carius Curne out of Arkansas. Curne picked LSU over Missouri and the hometown Arkansas Razorbacks.

Curne was previously committed to Arkansas but backed off after taking an unofficial visit to LSU back in March. Curne took an official visit to LSU earlier in June and his relationship with Brad Davis sealed the deal.
“It’s about developing me in every aspect of my life,” Curne said to On3. “He’s real honest and tells me this will be hard, but they have the resources and people to develop me as a person, student, and as an athlete. He’s built a great relationship with me.”
Curne is the No. 1 interior offensive linemen in the 2025 class and the state of Arkansas’s top player. Listed at 6’4” and 320 pounds, Curne is a composite four-star across the four major recruiting services. He’s ranked as the No. 84 overall player in the composite, but On3 has him in much higher regard. Curne is ranked as a five-star and the No. 25 overall player per On3’s rankings.
Carius Curne shows eye-popping movement skills as a two-way player at Marion (Ark.) High. The 6-foot-4, 320-pounder moves like a much smaller player. Curne’s game film is outstanding on both sides of the ball. He’s an effortless mover at the second level and is a violent, physical presence on contact.

LSU’s 2025 class is currently ranked second in the country and it has the No. 1 quarterback (Bryce Underwood), running back (Harlem Berry), and now the best interior offensive lineman in hand.
