A solid building block for future success
Add another rising star to the 2026 recruiting class.
LSU added the fourth member of their 2026 recruiting class Monday when Audree Valdenarro announced her commitment. Valdenarro is a three-star in College Gym News’ 2026 recruiting rankings. She is ranked one point lower than recent LSU commit Malea Milton.
Audree Valdenarro began her Level 10 career in 2021 at Gymnastics Olympica USA in Santa Clarita, California. Her only competition that season was the SoCal State meet. She finished 3rd on vault, 4th on bars, 1st on beam, tied for 3rd on floor and 2nd in the all-around in her division.
After only competing one meet in 2022, Valdenarro completed her first full Level 10 season in 2023. She finished 4th on bars and in the all-around in her division at the state championships and qualified for the Region 1 championships. She tied for 5th on floor, tied for 2nd in the all-around, finished 2nd on beam and tied for 1st on bars at regionals and qualified for Level 10 nationals. Her only top 20 finishes at nationals were a 20th place finish on floor and a 19th place finish in the all-around.
Valdenarro spent 2024 doing a mix of elite and Level 10, but she didn’t qualify for any major elite competitions. At the state championships, she tied for 4th on floor, finished 2nd on vault, finished 2nd in the all-around and won the bars title outright. At regionals, she tied for 5th on floor, finished 3rd on vault and beam, tied for the all-around title and won the bars title outright. Unfortunately, she suffered a foot injury that forced her to miss nationals.
College Gym News named her as an underrated recruit in the class of 2026 that excels on bars, and had this to say. “Valdenarro alternated between elite and level 10 competition this season. While she saved the Church for her elite routine only, her textbook execution was on full display in both disciplines. Valdenarro ultimately withdrew from DP championships due to a minor foot injury, but has plenty of upgrades in the works including a Maloney uprise to Hindorff and a double layout dismount.”
Valdenarro took visits to Auburn and Michigan before committing to LSU.
